I am not quite sure with what do you mean by winning the invasion...In an invasion there are no winners or loosers..It is not the same as a War. Yes the U.S. invaded Panama and was able to reached their goal which was to capture General Manuel Antonio Noriega.

If you are talking about the invasion of Panama in 1989 that ousted Manuel Noriega, then the US won. Noriega is still in prison.

We did. Then we captured Noriega and he is still doing time. Our beef with him was that he allowed Colombian drug smugglers to pass through Panama without any hassles after he took bribes from them personally.

Well all I can tell you is that I've been there and they use the American dollar.
