I currently have 3 goldfish in a 10 gal tank( i am soon getting a bigger one for them) and I am also thinking about getting a second tank probably 10 or 20 gal. What dp you reccomend for types of fish species?

im pretty sure you meant a seperate tank, so i suggest you get some small community fish like tetras danios, cherry barbs cory catfish, guppies and platies.

Well, depending on the size of the goldfish, you'd have to get a much bigger tank for them. When you move them to the new tank, wait for them to be full-grown and measure them. An approximate measure is 1 inch per 2 gallons for coldwater. If they are all above 4 inches, then you probably couldn't add any more. However, if you do have somome room, a school of White Cloud Mountain Minnows would be a good choice.

Gold fish can't be mixed with tropicals. Right now, you have enough fish for a 55 (once/if they mature) I wouldn't even consider adding to this tank...

In a 55 gallon with goldfish, you could probably keep a school of Danios, they produce very little waste and adjust well to water quality and temperature.
