Reset the inertia fuel emergency cut-off switch that's activated when the car is in an accident or gets bumped hard. Push the red button back in to reset it. See where it is in your owner's manual. Download a free copy of your owner's manual here:

Make sure the battery is good first by having it tested at the auto parts store. If the battery is older than 5 years, get a new one because you won't be able to troubleshoot the car cranking and starting without a real good battery that holds its charge. You may need to buy a battery charger to keep it charged up as your working on the car. You must hold the clutch in to crank the starter and engine as you know. That enables the starter relay and connects the battery to the starter motor. First you have to get it cranking. Then check for ignition spark with the spark tester below. Finally, once you have good spark, you should hear the fuel pump run and the engine start.

Check your owner's manual for the location of the fuel inertia switch. This is a safety switch, like a circuit breaker, that stops the fuel pump from flowing in the event of an accident. If it is equipped, it will prevent it from starting for sure!

If it won't turn on, you have a dead battery.
