In Springville Utah, it is July. Although today, it's about 90, which is strange. I don't know what the hottest month is where YOU are. In Long Beach CA, the hottest months tends to be July. In Hawaii, all days are 80.

The hottest months of the year would be between mid June through late August.
The weather patterns have been really disrupted from the Southern United States to the Northern Sates. Every year the Summers seem to get hotter and hotter, due to Global Warming.

It varies depending on where you are. The hottest month in the tropics is the month preceding the onset of the wet season. While January is the hottest month in much of Australia, November is the hottest month across the tropical north. In the northern hemisphere you would find that July was the hottest month generally with May being the hottest in the wet tropics.

In the northern hemisphere it's August. Even though the longest day is in June there's a phenomena called "thermal lag" that delays the hottest temperatures for about 6 to 8 weeks.

When the northern hemisphere has summer the southern hemisphere has winter and vice versa.

In the northern hemisphere the hottest month are usually July and August, if you want just one month then I say July.

In the southern hemisphere the hottest month are usually January and February. If you want just one month then I say January.

Mountains, valleys, rivers, oceans, deserts, rain forests and cities influence how hot it will get in these months...

Well in NYC it's HOT all the time because there's so-o-o-o much to do. But as far as the weather is concerned it's got to be August. You could just melt.

This isn't really a fair question because it all depends on where on the Globe u live. As for me, I live in the midwest, USA. Our hotest month is August.
