for the last 2 weeks the mccann supporters havent made a single valid point 99% of them have just resorted to name calling and abuse does this mean they have given up but are too afraid to admit they got it wrong

Firstly, the McCanns have advisers telling them where to go and what kind of publicity is likely to reach the largest audience possible, in as many parts of the world as possible. We do not know for sure where she is!
Secondly, I have never called anybody names (except the person who took Madeline) about their opinions! I may have vigorously disagreed with it but name calling is for the playground if you do not mind!
Thirdly, if people do not want to support the McCanns then that is their choice. But do we have to have all the nasty insinuations and back stabbing. I mean it will certain further the greater good of mankind by trying to have the McCanns other children taken from them?
I feel very strongly about this issue and will do anything I can to try and help Madeline. Unfortunately, I am realistic, there is nothing more I can do than pray and offer my support.
No child deserves to be abducted from their family and it is time that we all did more to stop this from happening.
All this name calling is doing is sending a message to whoever has her, or knows where she is, that people do not think she should be returned to "useless parents"!
Is that really what you want to do? because I am sure it is not!

Team Mccann or Pro Mccann are a rare and dying breed, limited by name calling as they have no legitimate argument, how can you its so bloody clear to see.

I hate to say this....but I think the McCanns are thrilled that their 15 mins of fame has been VASTLY extended..... They're traipsing around the world for what.....the mother looks like's she just stepped out of a Gucci parlour.....

How would you look if a daughter you gave two hoots about was abducted....to be frank.....I'd look like a total bag lady.....Your child would be MISSING.....would you give a sht if you wore eyeliner or not....?

My opinion....they holding on to something that's no longer there....realistically....not statistically or logically or whatever...... I very much doubt that it's hope that keeps those BS McCanns going.....

The McCanns are staying in Portugal because Portugal's laws only protect Portuguese children. They know if they go back to England the twins could be taken away. People have come forward saying that they had been leaving the kids alone every night.

Get this please...NO ONE supports Madeleine's parents in leaving their babies alone.
Its not even debatable. What they did was inexcusable & i'm aghast to think how they chose to do it.
So whats the blah blah blah about???
People truly concerned about Madeleine should support them in whatever way they believe is best to get THEIR baby back
and channel their minds positively towards creating awareneness for other missing children.
The McCanns will be charged with child neglect for sure & are facing (worse for them their Madeleine is facing)
the worst possible punishment of not even knowing whether their baby is alive & if she is,
the horrors she is facing. You want to hound them for leaving the babies, do it...if it makes you
feel better & proves a point to other irresponsible parents. But passing slick comments on what they do/don't & how/why & when they met the Pope &
analysing their every single gesture, expresssion & twisting their comments does not make for an objective
debate but just a cruel witchhunt. I fail to understand how such comments will help Madeleine.
As much as their actions baffle me, i will not judge them, as am certain they are being advised by experts
who know more about such situations than any of our wiseguys on YA.

Statements about "standing up for Madeleine & not her parents" are so pointless.
We all stand up for Madeleine & other missing children. Who wouldn't???
Our hearts ache for her & for all the other little ones lost.
As clever (& entertaining) as some of the observations of the guilty parents may seem, have any of our wiseguys
on YA even stopped to think about the damage they may be causing??? Such comments suggest that
Madeleine's parents are heartless & frivoulous & don't deserve her. Is that what we want the abductor / potential abductors
to hear??? C'mon guys, pause awhile & think about the hurt you can cause before hitting that submit button...

LOL I think MacCarthur thought you were talking about McCain. We are not getting much news about Madeleine here in the US so alot of people dont even know about it unless they come to Yahoo Answers until of course they bring their Journey over here to visit Oprah. It will then make American news probably at least more then it is now. I have only seen Greta do a story on it and I dont think she realizes what even happened to cause this incident to occur. I really want O'reilly to interview them. He would have something to say about them leaving them alone.

You can't argue with the truth. People can insult and threaten you with bodily harm, but that facts are what they are.

To those who say 'leave them alone.. have you no compassion...etc.': I think that Madeleine's parents have been coddled and protected through out all of this. Keep in mind, they have a government official ( paid for by the tax payers in the UK, one could assume) as their press liaison. I wish that other parents of missing children in the U.K. could be so fortunate.

You are right they never make a valid point. Once they have quoted the obligatory "Yes they were wrong to leave them, but have a heart/compasion blah blah" They resort to insults, and the arguement is lame.

They're planning another trip somewhere other than staying in Portugal and looking for their child as other parents would. They're for whatever reason decided to go see the pope who told them to &$*koff and go look for their baby. Maybe a trip to Paris - in the LA jail? If you call them, leave a messgage as they're probably out to dinner and the twins can pick up just yet.
