To get electricity directly from heat you could use an array of thermocouples or a thermo-electric cooler (these are available comercially. They are normally used in the reverse sense: applying direct current; one side gets cold and the other side gets hot). But, I believe you could artificially heat one side and/or cool the other, and get a direct current output. I have never tried this, but I think it would work; I don't know how efficient the process would be. In reference to heat collectors, if you mean a way to reflect and concentrate sunlight onto something else; highly polished aluminum would work well. If you mean using metal to conduct heat from one place to another; copper is better. The last part, about a metal fork; I don't understand; is there is some kind of translation problem or tyopgraphical error? I hope this is of help to you.

Brass would be better than aluminum. It conducts heat better than aluminum.
