I also have seen Alan Jackson I was so close, I could read the Wrangler across his butt! I have been to a lot of concerts:
Matchbox 20 x3, Alanis Morrisette, Robert Plant, Sugar Ray, Jewel, Creed, Pam Tillis, Presidents of the United States, Carrie Underwood & Vince Gill (at the grand ole opry) Hootie and the Blowfish, Maroon 5, Gin Blossoms, lots more, but I can't think of them right now. My first concert was Michael Damon from Young & the Restless

I saw Ike and Tina Turner in the late 1969 or early 1970, Charlie Pride many times, Johnny Cash and June carter, The Judds, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, George Strait, Reba McIntyre, Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Statler Brothers, Alabama, Crystal Gayle, Joe Diffee, Frankie Avalon, The Dixie Chicks, Bill Monroe, Tanya Tucker, Diamond Rio, Little Texas, Brooks and Dunn, Marty Stewart, Tammy Wynette, The Gatlin Brothers, Willie Nelson, and many others. I have pics of them that I took myself and pics of me with most of them that were taken with my camera. I also have a pair of jeans that are autographed from front to back and hem to waist by many of those mentioned above.

Not only 'seen' in person but shared the same stage with these singers: Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Barry Manilow (sang background), The Spinnners, The Moments, The Mary Jane Girls, Rick James, Annie Lenox, and some other groups. I have seen, heard, and had the opportunity to share the stage with many artists of yesteryears and today. Good question.

Although he's not a singer, I had a cocktail with Jimmy Page in a jazz club a few years ago. I was playing there and he just happened to be in the crowd. He liked what he heard and bought me a drink after wards. We sat and chatted about guitars for about a half hour or so. I didn't even know who I was talking to for the first ten minutes.

I also had a beer with Jeff Healey in his club here in Toronto. Really cool guy.

I met Cyndi Thomson, you're a country fan, you may know who she is, in Kentucky when she was just starting out.

I attended my freshman year at the same high school as the singer known publicly as Tori Amos. She was still just "Ellen" back then (1979-1980). We sat together in Mr. Benedict's choir class, 1st soprano section. She was Miss Squeaky Clean in contrast to the stoned, ticking time bomb that I was.

I don't know what she saw in me other than a severely damaged chick who could sing *almost* as good as her. Still, she was my then confidant and partner in choir mischief. And if it weren't for Ellen I probably would've ***** slapped this one stuck up little platinum blonde who sat in front of us in 2nd soprano. "Freddie" was damned lucky Ellen liked her too.
