Even though I was born in the beginning of 80's, I'm totally in love with music from 60's.

This era has included so many great singers and bands, e.g. The Beatles, Billy Joel, Bee Gees, Joe Cocker, BB King, Bob Dylan, great songs e.g. Yesterday, hey Jude.

I love this decade.

The music in the 90's was the best because you could turn on the radio and actually be able to tell the bands apart. These days, when you turn on the radio, it all sounds the same with very few exceptions.

the 70's! man those were the days.. if i could go back in time, that's where i'd go. there were just so many fantastic bands, like Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, AC/DC, and so many more! Not only that, but metal was born in the seventies thanks to innovators such as Jimmy Page and Angus Young. best of all, the music was so real. people were just trying to play, not get on the billboard 100. that's exactly what makes the seventies music so good, and today's so bad.

Late 60's early 70's------ It's a fact, music that has endured came from this period of time. I need not list bands nor songs, ask any competent musician or D.J. Believe me it is a fact that has all ready been noted in history. Not to be bias but this is my all time best time for music and song.Ken.R&R

Though most of my favorite bands are from the 70's, I would have to say the 60's. There were so many great bands/artists like The Beatles, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Rolling Stones, Cream, The Who, Bob Dylan, The Doors and whenever one would release a classic album it would inspire another one of them to release a classic album and that would inspire another one and so on. You're left with a huge chain of classic albums.

The 80's was hands down the best. The official death of disco, punk thrived, Mall hair and chicks with bangs, Tawny Kitaen on the hood of the firebird in whitesnake video, the birth of MTV and the music video . . .

do I really need to go on???

1980s because that is when I was a teenager.

I think your favorite music is always from when you were a teenager - you had time to listen and think and everything was so melodramatic in your life.

I also think today is a pretty good music scene with digital music and the Internet giving artists a lot more exposure.
