I know a lot of people talk about how women seem to glow when they are pregnant. But I don't seem to fell like I'm "glowing". I've had absolutely NO morning sickness, or anything like that, and I feel great. Only thing is I seem to feel like my hair isn't as soft and my face DEFINATLY isn't glowing, unless you consider an outragous amount of new acne that I've gotten since I've become pregnant. Anyone else feel like this?

Sometimes I think that glowing is a myth. I'm 23 weeks pregnant and the only thing that's making me glow is the massive increase in oil production on my face. I feel like I have to wash my face all the time. It causes me to have acne. I'm proud of my growing belly and all but it makes me feel insecure when my husband sweetly says "awww, the baby is doing a number on your forehead." Hope this helps.

The body is forever changing when you are with child. The attitude, eating habits, texture of the hair, texture of the skin, fatigue. With so many things going on we tend to not notice things until after the fact. This is the season for heat, which disagrees with most pregnancies. You tend to perspire more and in some cases the skin does get oilier. Try to stay away from oil base products on the face and find a mild cleanser to fit your skin type. You might want to consider watching what you eat and drink a lot of non-carbonated fluids especially water. Consult with your physician on the matter he/she may be able to better assist you. Hope I Helped.

I deffinatly do not see it! I had a bit of acne before I was pregnant. but now its not that i have worse acne, its just my face is more red then usual. and the makeup i had did not do me justice. i had to go buy more makeup. (and keep in mind ladies, if you go to the mall and the girls apply the makeup for you... dont think that you will look just as flawless when you apply it) i did it exactly the same way the girl did it, and the redness still managed to seep through. And my hair has begun to be very oily.

I don't know where my rosy glow is either. I'm breaking out like a teenager, and my hair seems thinner (if that's possible). Definitely could be feeling better about how I look.

I was the same way when I was pregnant with my daughter. I got bad acne and gained 77 lbs and my hair got completely ruined during pregnancy.

My hair is thicker, softer, and shinier. My nails are growing longer and stronger and I haven't had one zit. I'm 13 weeks. But I would trade most of that in to rid myself of this horrid morning sickness. I've lost ten lbs and am miserable most of the time. I know it's going to be worth it in the end though. :)
