Please don't worry, I am sure being your first you will worry about everything anyhow. I went through the same thing. I didn't feel anything until way after the 23rd week and even then it took 3 different people to even find the heartbeat then because I was worried too. My baby only weighed 5lb 11oz and the tinier they are the harder it is to hear so please don't worry ok? You will feel the baby soon!

It depends on the size of the baby for the most part. As well as your size. Since you've already had a baby your uterus has been stretched and baby #2 has a little more room than #1, so you probably wouldn't feel movements at the same time as you did with #1. Aside from the fact that every pregnancy is different. Good Luck!

I didn't really feel any movement until about 20 or 21 weeks. The doc told me to drink a glass of OJ or some other kind of sweet juice and lie on my side for about 20 minutes. You should be able to feel movement after you lie there for a little while. Be patient. Make sure it is totally quiet in the room and you are relaxed. Good Luck

20 weeks is the average but not the rule. It may take longer for you to feel the babies movements. Some women take up to 23 weeks before they feel their baby, according to Great Expectations. So I would wait until my next appointment and bring it up to my doctor then. Especially if you went last week and everything seemed fine. Have you had an ultrasound yet? That may help put your mind at ease.

When I had my ultra sound the dr said to me that my placenta was at the front and there was a good chance I wouldn'r feel the baby moving until much later than my friends might have. From what I have read 22 weeks is a common start date too.

I'm petite as well, and didn't feel my baby until 22 weeks - one day I was sitting at my desk and all of a sudden, she was kicking all over and hasn't stopped!! It could be the way baby is lying (kicking "in" instead of "out") or where your placenta is (mine is out front, which means I don't feel as much if she is hiding back there). You'll probably feel the baby soon - you just have a mellow baby!!

You should feel it within the next month.
It's usually between 5 and 6 months before
feeling it move. Just be patient mommy,
It will kick you when it's ready.

From what I remember, and it was a while ago, you dont really feel it until you start to show and its really pushing on your belly.

If this is your first you probably don't realize you are feeling your little one kick and stretch. Everyone is different.
