im looking for a good free mmorpg with intricate crafting classes.... ones that could support themselves.... scifi or fantasy.. eithar way is cool thanks.

You may want to check out www.rubiesofeventide.com The crafting in the game gives exp. Plus it's pretty immersive. Mining is required to find ore beyond the third tier (difficulty) of crafting. So you get to mine the ore, refine it.. then work on your skill at the appropriate tool (forge or anvil for instance).

plus there is like 140 classes to choose from when you're bored from crafting.

are you an older person who doesn't think WoW is good enough? then try everquest most people over 25 and 30s likes it more then WoW since they think warcraft is childish. I'm a teen but I'll have to agree WoW is pretty childish and so are the players. Let me break it to ya friend, all mmorpg games are about the same price. But if you want to play similar stuff without being online try fallout or elder scrolls. They give you mmorpg experince yet you are not online. Luck to ya Oh yeah forgot GuildWars
