If your computer says re-writable on the cd-rom drive does that mean that you can burn you pictures from your computer onto a cd from your drive?

okay,what cd do i have to buy to burn them onto?

the reason i am doing this is because my computer is **** [it's a Dell.] and i am hopefully going to get a new one.

That type of burner will usually write to CR-RW (erasable), but they will always write to CD-R (write once) so I would go with those - they are the cheapest.

The real question is what program are you going to use to burn them to the CD-R. Nero is very easy, but expensive. There are also some "write to CD-R" features built into WindowsXP and there are some help files in XP.
