Im interested in buying my first thong bathing suit. can anyone tell me where a good place to buy one is? Im possibly looking for a one piece "suspender" style or a tiny tiny 2 piece. I hear a company called wicked weasle makes a sexy one. Any opinions? are they comfortable to wear at the beach? do you think they are appropriate? I live in Virginia Beach where they are illegal but my parents have a pool they said I could wear it at their house and we have North Carolina near by and I can wear it there. I usually visit everyother week so they will be used often

They all have them and all are reputable. I don't think wearing one on the beach is a good diea simply because the sand you will find afterward will be awful and you will end up with sand in your ***, trust me, I know. It can be very irritating to your skin if you wear it at the beach just because of the saltwater and the sand and the close proximity of the fabric to your more delicate skin. However, wearing it by the pool won't be irritating if you put a towel down before you lay out. Also, be careful moving around, unless you use double sided tape the tops can be bad. I've never worn one of those suits for the actual purpose of recreation, only in contest or modeling scenarios and after having worn them I would advise you think this through and be careful. If you're in the privacy of your own home and don't mind a nipple slip then go for it!
Also if your entire body is not used to exposure to the sun make sure you don't expose your sensitive skin for more than 15-20 minutes at a time the first few times. You'll get burned and won't be able to sit down comfortable.

they have them at venus.com, but i don't think that thong bathing suits are very attractive. But that also could be because when i was 13 I was at the beach in pensacola, and there was an old woman wearing a thong bikini and her husband was a fat old man, and he was wearing a speedo, but he was sitting down and all i can describe it as is that it looked like he was naked. Ever since then I have kinda been against them. If you wear it at home, i would do it when no one else was home.

make sure you look good in it. i think it'd be very awkward to wear around your parents....i wouldn't want my dad staring at my butt cheeks, and i know he wouldn't want to be looking....
