Im off on holiday in a few weeks and I am taking my portable DVD with me and I have'nt got many films.
Can you recommend any, with a brief description and marks out of 10?

Much Appreciated!
Also is there anywhere cheap to get these apart from Ebay and Amazon....a site with UK prices. Cheers

Kill Bill 1 & 2 - Martial Arts/Anime - I know sounds awful but one cracking storyline throughtout the two films. Not my usual cup of tea but have watched both many times over. Violent but not gory. Cinematography stunning. Music and acting top notch 9/10

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest - Comedy/Drama -Jack Nicholson skips jail by acting mental (which of course he pulls off appropriately). The evil nurse is the drama. The other nutters make the comedy. Years old but well worth it. 9/10

Motorcycle Diaries - True life/ road movie - true story of Che Guevara on travels around South America on a motorbike with his best mate. You've never seen scenery like it. 8/10 (you may not like this one coz it's subtitled but maybe worth a watch when you get back)

Lots of others I could mention but all the other answerers will do that.

Here's a good site to buy them

Happy hols

Really anything with Edward Norton, he's always reliable for a good film.

Primal Fear- 9/10
People v. Larry Flynt- 7.5/10
Rounders- 10/10
American History X- 10/10
Fight Club- 10/10
Keeping the Faith- 8.5/10
Death to Smoochy- 8.5/10
The Score- 8/10
Frida- 9/10
Red Dragon- 8.5/10
The 25th Hour- 10/10
The Italian Job- 8/10
Kingdom of Heaven- 7.5/10
The Painted Veil- 10/10
Down in the Valley- 9.4/10
The Illusionist- 7/10

Everyone Says I Love You is also good, but it's not on DVD. I guess I'm just biased 'cause he's my favorite actor.
