Kill Bill 1 & 2 - Martial Arts/Anime - I know sounds awful but one cracking storyline throughtout the two films. Not my usual cup of tea but have watched both many times over. Violent but not gory. Cinematography stunning. Music and acting top notch 9/10
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest - Comedy/Drama -Jack Nicholson skips jail by acting mental (which of course he pulls off appropriately). The evil nurse is the drama. The other nutters make the comedy. Years old but well worth it. 9/10
Motorcycle Diaries - True life/ road movie - true story of Che Guevara on travels around South America on a motorbike with his best mate. You've never seen scenery like it. 8/10 (you may not like this one coz it's subtitled but maybe worth a watch when you get back)
Lots of others I could mention but all the other answerers will do that.
Here's a good site to buy them
Happy hols
