They are probably too young to contain any fossils (alluvial areas), or the rocks are igneous or metamorphosed enough that no fossils remain.

So many geology questions in such a short space of time. I'd advise you to start looking it up for yourself so you learn something instead of copying our answers.

Where you won't get fossils is in land that is older than when fossils actually left much of an imprint (~600m years) or is volcanic.

I'm pretty sure I addressed this when I answered your other question about the provinces. If you can't read your book , at least read our answers more carefully.

because there was probably soft organisms there and soft organisms dont form fossils.
