Hello Jennifer, This is the quickest way I know. Ready?. Set your alarm clock to go off in 15 , min´s time. GO, All dirty clothes in a pile next to the bedroom door, along with any other thing that does not belong . You will take them to their rightful places when you finish . All clean clothes to the closet, Jeans, jumpers , skirt´s top´s all folded or hang them up . Don´t forget the shoes from under the bed. When the time is up, and you think you have had enough for the day. Sit down read a magazine or ask / answer a few Q here, BUT if you think you would rather carry on , then do the same again . Set the clock for another 15 min´s, even if you don´t finish the job today always remember to reward yourself. As for your paper work´s, if it´s all to much to cope with at once, find a box or 2, pop then all inside & deal with 1 box at a time. Do the same for all the little bit´s and bobs you have all into a box, and in your own time you will find the right place for them. If you wish to decluter, then you think of it this way. Look at the object & say I love it , so i will keep it. This has no value I don´t use it , but it might be of use to some one else, This is no good for anyone, I never use it, so I will throw it. Try with the 15 min´s , sure it will help you out

First you have to divide everything into piles. (It will get worse before it gets better). Bring in a garbage bag for trash and walk around room with the bag and throw all trash away. Teh walk around and collect dishes and glasses and bring to the sink. Get a bag for donated items (what you want to get rid of) and a laundry basket. Put all items into these categories first, 1) Keep 2) throw away 3) give away. After you finish this process and actually throw away and give away what you don't want/ need, it should be quite a bit better already. Next step, organize what is left. Put everything in it's designated place (clothes in closet or dresser, etc.) If you are out of room for storage, I would suggest totes. There are many different sizes and they can fit almost anywhere. Finish up with a good cleaning. Pledge the wood, windex the glass and mirrors, vacuum and wash bedding. That should take care of it.
Good luck! :)

First hang up all the clean clothes and put the dirty clothes in the laundry room. Then clear the clutter off of your desk/dresser/whatever. When I was younger I used to make one giant pile on the floor and sort it all out so I would only make one trip to the kichen or bathroom to put everything away.

then I would probably pull the sheets off the bed and wash them. While the laundry was being done dust everything in your room from top to bottom.

Finally vaccuum and then make the bed and put away the clean clothes.

Step One: Douse the place in gasoline.

Step Two: Light a match and throw it on the floor.

Step Three: Call the insurance company and tell them you don't know what happened.

Step Four: Take insurance money and buy a bunch of sweet stuff.

OK sweetie, first throw everything off your bed onto the floor, make your bed, put all your clothes that aren't already put away on the bed. then put everything else in it's rightful spot, like cd's, nick knacks whatever you may have, make up that sort of thing, then ut away your clothes, then dust, then vacuum. simple! good luck!
