It amazes me, when the dem's had control of Texas for around 150 years, (drawing and redrawing district lines among other things) no one said anything. Finally, Texas voted in someone else (throwing out Ann Richards and electing George Bush) things ran differently. Bush kept the old dem district lines which favored the Dem's, but Rick Perry and Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst redrew the lines (which the dem's have always done, going back to the founding of the state) to better serve their constituents. The dem-wits freak out! They leave the state, first going to Oklahoma, then New Mexico to avoid a loosing vote. They then cry on local TV here nightly for two weeks complaining how unfair it is. Then the Dem's file letigation / suit to stop the mandate (again, something they have always done) and took it all the way to the Supreme Court, who pretty much said, "You guys did it, why can't the Republicans to do it"? And allowed it to stand.
Dems are a bunch of whinny little temper tantrum throwing spoiled kids, who don't get their way, they sue. Remember Florida anybody?
