I'm starting to work as a photographer and will like to purchase an external drive to accomodate all my photos...I know is not a good idea to keep them in your system, and putting them on disk is not a route I want to take...

Please let me know your opinion. Thanks

I installed a large number of Seagate models, and so far so good, I do like the idea of air vent to allow heat to escape, seen too many Lacie/Maxtor ones die and take days to recover data.

go to walmart, get the newest one, 340 gig for loss than 200. I doubt you could ever fill it up.
