yes cuz we use it to describe to much,, I mean I truly do love my husband, but 5 minutes later I will say how much I love pizza....and the 2 shouldn't really be described by the same word...if that makes any sence

I don't thinlk it is overrated, as much as the fact that it has lost it's meaning. "I love you": "I love mashed potatos" " I love my car"; "I love Pizza with everything on it"; : I just love the way he/she sings": and on and . on
