A number of different things can give a person a higher propensity to be violent. One may feel extremely threatened, have a brain chemistry/physiology which doesn't allow them to control emotions as well as others, poor role models/maladaptive modeling throughout youth. Many other things can come into play such as stress.
Really it's a combination of the person and the environment.

Violence happens when people get angry over an imagined slight or a dirty look, instead of thinking through their action's and just walking away. Some people hit first and ask questions later. Some times it just happens because ppl are not nice and violence is all they know.

Some people like my older sister start throwing punches because in an arguement, she's got nothing else to say, so compensates with violence. In other words she's an immature %^&$ who can't back herself up, so she decides to just settle it the only other way she knows how.

Nowadays - many reasons. Drugs, Violent parents, violence on the sports field, Poor education - with resultant low self esteem, Glorification of violence on TV, probably chemicals in 'food'. etc., etc., etc. It does appear to be getting worse, don't it? - even the police force and the military seem to get off on it.

It happens for a number of reasons. Such as when it is neccesary or when some one thinks some one else deserves it (maybe they do, maybe they don't). Violence is not always bad, we need violence so we can eat meat.

violence occurs when people make wrong or stupid choices god gave us a right to do what we wanted and some people do the wrong thing

Some people are unable to control their emotions and/or their powers of reasoning. This is why you should keep clear of anybody who is obviously intoxicated as their mind is befuddled by alcohol and they can lash out for no apparent reason

Too many reasons for this.One reason is perhaps hate,then there is anger ,misunderstanding and on and on.
