Hi, I had a baby March 10th, didn't start taking birth control until April 12. Stopped taking pill on May 23 (didn't like side affects). Now I feel like I may be pregnant I'm tired, sleepy, not liking certain smells, a bit moody and easily annoyed (not a usual thing with me). My question is this......Could I have possibly conceived before I started taking the pill between giving birth to April 12? I am going to take a test tomorrow that I ordered online, just wanted some opinions, maybe someone here has gone through the same thing. Thanks for all serious responses.

Yes you could be pregnant. My friend had a baby and when she went for her 6 week checkup she was already 4 weeks pregnant. I have heard that your very fertile right after giving birth. But it could be that your harmones are just going thru an uproar right now since it has only been a bit over 2 months since giving birth. Just take the test and see. You very well could be though. Good luck to you and congrads on baby #1, hope you are satsified with the outcome of whatever you find out. I assume it was not planned though considering you were on BC. Best wishes to you though.

Its possible everyones body is different and some heal quicker than others. I did not give birth but i miscarried on december the 17th 2006 and i concieved on the 19th of jan 2007 i didnt think i would fall pregnant again so soon but i did. Maybe you should consider taking a test or speaking to a doctor but make sure you take care in the mean time. Best of luck :)

If you had sex before the 12th, you absolutely could be pregnant. I imagine you haven't forgotten all the lovely symptoms of pregnancy, so your concerns are definitely right on target. It is said that right after a woman gives birth, she becomes extremely fertile. Some of your symptoms are common post partum though, so taking the test is definitely the route to go!! Good Luck!!!

Heya, its very no longer likely which you're pregnant. it incredibly is fairly frightening fairly while its your first time. Your uterus lining takes time to rebuild after a era (5-6 days counting on your cycle), and in that element there is an extremely low danger of turning into pregnant simply by fact there is not any lining to help the placenta and the transforming into infant. it incredibly is often after the liner is totally shaped which you ovulate, so upload yet another 2 or 3 days, so your egg is incredibly no longer released untill around day 14 of your cycle. in addition to, your boyfriend did no longer ejaculate interior you there does no longer be any sperm on your uterus to fertilise an egg, (besides the certainty that, please please please, bear in mind for next time, that a penis can each so often launch 'precum' as lubrication that could incorporate some sperm, so consistently consistently positioned on a condom). i'm hoping this helps, it incredibly is extremely no longer likely which you're pregnant honey. do no longer agonize too plenty ok? additionally, might prefer to characteristic, that i've got additionally stated the 1st poster. you're an entire shame. quit posting. Edit: once you're certainly taking your tablet, you do no longer regularly get a era. in common terms when you quit taking the tablet and leave a area of interest to your era, then you definately gets a era till now you start up your next month's batch of pills. So finished your batch for this month, leave your 7 day hollow to your era, and start up on the subsequent month's one returned. :D

There's really no good way to tell.
Were you having a normal menstruation cycle during that time? If you were, I would say there is a chance you could have conceived (although I didn't know you COULD have sex so soon after delivering..).

I would doubt that you conceived in the month you were not taking BC. Your body is probably trying to get readjusted after having a baby.

Anything is possible. I know 2 people who became pregnant while taking birth control. You could have become pregnant before you started it or even while you were on it. I'd say go see your OB/GYN just to be sure. Good luck.

well first off, you really arent supposed to have intercourse before six weeks after having a baby, just because your body hasnt healed fully.. and the possibilities of becoming pregnant again after just having a baby are slightly elevated, especially if you`re breastfeeding..i remember asking my obgyn this after i had my son. because i didnt want to go on the pill but i was told that i should. but in any case you should take a test just to make sure and if you`re still questioning it, go to your doctor. nobody knows your body better than you do.. good luck to you though!

On average, after giving birth you will ovulate about 45 days if you don't breastfeed. Now, that doesn't mean it's impossible that you conceived sometime before starting birth control, but it is just unlikely. Also, if you did breastfeed then it is nearly certain that you didn't ovulate during that time. Good luck!

i think it's possible, but you shouldn't want to be. anyway, the pill may have killed the unborn fetus. try some tests from the store, but i don't think you are. the side effects could be acting up again still from the pill. talk to a doctor if you're worried.

there's a possibility but not a likelihood.

is this your first? if it is, i can only share my own experience (i've only had one). as soon as i had her, the fear of becoming pregnant again was so strong that i seriously convinced myself i might be and even took a test - which of course came back negative. the mind is a powerful thing.

i wouldn't be too concerned. the good spin is - you're definitely gonna find out sooner than later.

good luck!
