"The Baby Birds" - I think that that particular episode is 25 minutes of the best television ever written. Brilliant! The depth and wisdom of the plot is so good that it is almost haunting. It taught the sad but true lesson of life and death and of taking responsibility for ones actions. Ron Howard's acting was incredible for such a young boy and you get the impression that Andy Griffith isn't just acting a part but is genuinely concerned about how this little boy will turn out. It's definitely my all time favorite episode of any television show.

i admire between the early ones. Aunt Bea includes help Andy with Opie, and interior the beginning up, Opie would not like her.
