I think it's good that she's in jail and I don't feel sorry for her one iota. She broke the law and needs to receive the same punishment that regular folks would. I don't like celebrities getting out of punishment just because they're famous. What a joke. Paris Hilton needs to stop being such a diva and grow up.

I care that someone in Hollywood is finally being made to own up to their responsibilities.
But, no, I do not care what is going on with Paris Hilton, per se.

And why? To distract the Americans from real issues.

Well, Paris Hilton probably cares.

YES, absolutely. I am GLAD they are broadcasting it all over the news.

Paris, very unfortunately, has been a powerful role model for teen girls. And the way celebrities have had immunity to consequence in this nation is disgusting.

Covering it so extensively in the media will, hopefully, pound it into these teens' skulls that rules apply to everyone, no matter how pretty, rich, or slutty you are. And that doing stupid things like drugs and drinking + driving aren't "cool" - that they can ruin your life or reputation.

Apparently the TV Guide Channel does. The special is on right now.
Gosh, it's as popular as Anna Nicole Smith's death, and ANS wasn't even that famous anyway. Are they going to make a docudrama about Paris next?

Because their trying to make sure everyone knows about her and no one forgets this little episode. I don't care that she's in jail at all.

I could care less...but it'd probably be kind of funny to find out she was gang raped in there and came deciding she wanted to be a lesbian, and has this huge public BDSM love affair with her butch lover; now that's celebrity news!!!!!!
