I think they are a fairly typical human being.
Fear of speaking to a group is the most common fear there is.
Almost everyone has it -- there are a few people who don't, naturally; most who speak publicly with ease had to do it a LOT before they became comfortable with it.
I'm serious, BTW about it being common.
Spiders, death, car accidents -- more people put fear of public speaking ahead of all other fears.
So chill.
You have over 80% of the human race for company.
There's a very good chance people didn't even notice.
When I was a student, and when I did workshops, I would sometimes ask others how obvious it was that I was really nervous, or really blew it.
A LOT of the time they looked at me like I'd said "How purple is my hair?"
YOU notice it because it's you.
That doesn't mean others noticed it.
Usually the signs aren't obvious from a distance.
And people are usually trying to listen to what you say, and aren't paying attention to your feelings.
But even if they did notice, they know how you feel, and were marvelling you were able to do it at all, rather than being surprised you were nervous.

Having self confidence when you give a speech is a good. Imagine everyone sitting there in their underwear or think of something funny. It's ok to feel nervous giving a speech, and the more speechs you give the more confident you will become so don't be hard on yourself, it takes time and practice. You could try practicing infront of a mirror. All the best :)

Nothing is wrong with the fear of public speaking. A survey showed that 80% of people who had a fear of speach rather die than give a speech. So don't feel bad becuase not only you have a fear of speach.

Normal! The number one fear people have is public speaking, so don't feel bad. Everyone gets nervous when they have to speak especially in front of their peers.

It depends on who your target audience is. If they are mature people, they will understand that there is a reason why the number one fear of Americans (most of them) is public speaking. honestly, most people are thinking of only themselves about 90 percent of the time anyway, so if they DID think anything, good OR bad, they're over it now. You're fine.

Normal and uncomfortable. Actually.. the people who are really confident when giving speeches can come across kind of arrogant.
