Do you want me to tell you what you want to hear and say "yes" or do I tell you why we wont win?
First off lets all remember that while Bush says its a war on terror in general, it really is a war against Iraq. For if it really was a war on terror, we would have troops posted up in Africa and Eastern Europe where everyone knows there are still alot of terrorists.
There cannot be a war on terror, there are simply too many terrorists of too many nations. What do you think will happen after we win this so-called war against terror in Iraq? Are we going to chase down "terror" in other countries? A war on terror is the same as a war on drugs; it cannot be won and it will not be won.
You call it a war on terror, I call it a claim to oil.

What war on terror ? I don't see any war on terror. There was no terror coming from Irak. Terrorists came from Saoudi Arabia.
Yes, NOW there is terror. And this situation is creating the future terrorists.

We need to thank our lucky stars that we have gw bush as president. your you know what is grass if a democrat gets in.
gw bush has kept us safe so far and don't think there are n''t people that want to do you and your familys harm in the United States. just because he doesn't blab his mouth off like the idiot democrats and tell the terrorists everything we are doing that doesn't mean he is stupid. he has enough smarts to keep his mouth shut. during ww 2 if you said anything about the president or give away secrets that was treason.
pres clinton has women in the white house. during ww2 you were warned against women because they were sent as spies...

To me it seems more and more like a tragic stalemate. Granted, there have been no terror attacks in the US since 9/11 (successful ones anyway) but the people of Iraq are suffering mightily and our soldiers are dying.

The war on terror is b.s. They should just call it Gulf War 2. The reason for the war is oil. That's it. I don't believe a word the gov't says.

i believe that the us is doing what it needs to do becaues it was attacked and the area the attack came from gave us no support in helping get the attackers which we deemed to be support, becaues if you dont chose a side one is chosen for you
but the hussanie thing was completly a personal vedetta by the pres
but my opinion seems to change on this as i learn more about it, i know that i dont know everything

No....it's a stalemate, always will be , just like the war against crime. Why? Because man was born with both good and evil in the heart therefore, good men will rule and bad men will rule, but neither will rule in total.

This "war" will never end. I think terrorists will be a fact of life from now on. I just hope we can prevent anymore attacks on our soil.
