I'm sure you know that the bits are egg shells which is worse than glass. The best solution to this problem is to become a vegan and stop eating eggs.

Either you're using a heavily broken glass bowl or you're confusing glass with egg shells. Sometimes, when you crack eggs and cook them, little pieces of the shell crack off and end up in the eggs themself.
