Just curious. I personally don't believe all the soulmate/spiritual affinity terminology, however I know several people who do. How many of you left a marriage after many years because you thought you found someone else who was your soulmate, only to realize later that this other person was not really your soulmate?

Good questions Scott, I think married people confuse the word soul mate for boredom. There are bored with their marriage or the lack of trying to work things out....

"True love is the soul's recognition of it's counterpoint in another"

I believe in soulmates, but I don't believe however that you can have only one. Two people can have the same kind of soul that attracts them to one another, and then they could turn around a few years later and find another soul that matches theirs even better than the first.

No one wants a perfect match, cuz what fun would that be? But recognizing the similarities in your inner most person draws you to these people. That's my opinion anyhow...

There is no such thing as a soulmate in my book. You either get a long with each other or you don't.

i don't think there are soul mates but I do think there are people that belong to your soul group. Relationship are made for the soul to grow and know thy self. what better way to know your self than through a relationship. what you say happens a lot cause people don't understand the purpose of relationship...me included

Soul mate is like NO-FAULT dumping.
"Sorry honey , but I don't think you are my soul mate so hit the road. Its nothing you've done, its just that we aren't made for each other."
