I have to some how keep an ice cube from melting while putting it in the sun for ten minutes. What i use can not be bigger than half of a milk carton. Any Ideas. Please, anything will do.

small plastic grocery bags wrapped around it . Do tests to see if tight or loose works better. Also, between the sun and the ice make sure there is tin foil. This is what NASA uses.

Can you use a thermos? Are you allowed to include other material (like dry ice) with it? If not, put it in something that will reflect a lot of the light.

Place a small hand mirror over it to reflect the sunlight. Also, place it on top of a thick piece of cardboard, this will insulate it from the ground heat.

Try dry ice, but handle carefully.
