I see no evidence it is gone. Where do you get this?

The United States Constitution specifically states:
“ The privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in cases of rebellion or invasion, the public safety may require it. ”

No one has suspended the right of Habeaus Corpus for American citizens. No I take that back, one republican did suspend the right of Habeaus Corpus, Abraham Lincoln.
