Give it up you are going to have to answer for the ticket one way or another.

Not unless it is one of those tickets you are supposed to get in the mail and did not because of the flaw in the address.

If the cop handed it to you, nothing matters as long as it gives you enough information to show up at the hearing.

NO it wont matter as long as they have the number off of the DL and in some states you dont have to sign the ticket Like South Carolina

THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE WRONG ADDRESS IS TO HAVE YOUR INFORMATION UPDATED ON YOUR LICENSE. AND AS FAR AS NOT SIGNING IT, DEPENDING ON YOUR STATE, IT USUALLY DOESN'T GET THROWN OUT. IT JUST MEANS THEY DON'T REQUIRE YOU TO SIGN IT. ITS DIFFERENT SOMETIMES BETWEEN GETTING A TICKET FROM A LOCAL COP COMPARED TO LIKE A SHERIFF OR HIGHWAY PATROL. BUT THAT IS WHY YOU NEED TO KEEP YOUR ADDRESS UPDATED. JUST BECAUSE IT WENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS ITS UNDER YOUR NAME AND YOUR STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENS. LIKE IF A WARRANT IS ISSUED FOR NOT SHOWING UP TO COURT OR SOMETHING. SO YOU DON'T WANT TO GET IN MORE TROUBLE JUST BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T WANT TO UPDATE YOUR ADDRESS.

was the wrong address the address listed on your licence or insurance paper? If it is... then its the right address.

no signiture... the officer can just say you refused to sign. You have no defense on that point.

I have no idea, was the cop drunk? LOL! Hey, they can't send you a summons or have a sheriff come to take you to jail if they have the wrong address, right?

NOPE sorry, it's not their fault you have a different address than what is on your license! Get an atty to fix it!
