Hey un-winable -

I haver no kids, I could care less about that, plus I hit potholes and bend my rims all the time. Anyway those things are paid for by local and state taxes not federal income tax.

I hate big government. I have an easy time spending other people's money...on myself. Why else would the libs want to spend our money and raise taxes? So they can use that money on themselves and and the poor little helpless poor people. I thought the dems were for the working man until I became a working man...I keep getting molested when the libs dig in my pockets for my money!

Why does ANYBODY in DC think they can spend our money better? You're pointing the finger at libs and dems yet history has shown that Democrat led administrations and legislators have done better with the deficit than supposed fiscal conservatives.

The largest deficit/national debt build ups have been from republican presidents (Reagan, Bush 41 and Bush 43). Don't believe me? Go look at link below...

Six years of Republican White House and Congress did not even come close to balancing the budget.

btw Sway-- the saying is "I could NOT care less" and YES federal taxes do go to roads (ever drive on an Interstate highway?).

Let me get this straight. You have a president who is borrowing and spending more than any other president in history of the U.S. You have a president that has basically given the entire U.S treasury to the oil corporations and the military industrial corporate profiteers and has rewarded them with major tax breaks so that they will offshore their accounts and offshore their jobs to countries overseas. You have a president that has contributed to the largest trade and budget deficit along with the largest debt in U.S history and now you are asking liberals and democrats this question?
Who do you think is going to pay for this huge debt, this huge war without end, this healthcare crisis our country is in, the bridges and infrastructure that is deteriorating, the deteriorating education system in this country and the impact of Hurricane Katrina? Who, indeed, when the corporations and the richest 3% of the country are not paying their fair share per capita. The middle class pays more in proporation than the rich. And, we are getting robbed and tired of it. I suggest that you start educating yourself to the issues before you holler and scream at liberal.
There is more money trickling to the top rather than the bottom. 40% of every tax dollar goes to the military industrial complex profiteers now. 16% of every dollars goes to pay the interest on our debt. less than 10% goes to welfare recipients. More and more of our tax dollars are aiding subsidies AND overextended tax breaks to the wealthiest individuals in the country. This is income distribution all right. But it is being distributed to the wealthiest in our country. Even people like Warren Buffet and Bill Gates know this and are against it.

There you go! Amen!

I hope you will spread the news!

This is exactly what the socialist agenda is after . . . and the liberals would have you believe that it is for your own good!

Vote for smaller government, smaller taxes and you are voting for the benefit of the people.

Yes, it does have a spending problem and liberals and democrats think it's ok unless it's their guys. Too bad for this country that we all can't agree on spending and follow the same guidelines on both parties.

I hear you! Government knows how to waste so much money on the parasitic military with useless things like a missile defense shield and a needless Iraq war. All you need to do is substitute the word conservative for liberal.

Because in most cases they do. Look at all of the poor people. They waste their money on pointless possessions.

There poor for a reason. The government becomes poor because it's trying to help the poor.

The government is also poor because it's spending money for your safety.

You're an idiot if you think otherwise. If you think they waste their money, then I wonder how safe you would feel if there was no defense budget to protect you from terrorists and other enemies.

"The illusion of freedom (in America) will continue as long as
it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where
the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just
take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they
will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see
the brick wall at the back of the theater." -- Frank Zappa {rocker}

Well we sure know that this current administration and the past congress didn't know how to spend a paycheck. Do you not remember anything from the Clinton admin to this current one? How the spending was down and the budget was in surplus and now its the exact opposite but by billions and billions. What is your point? How do you propose that we pay off the debt this moron president and his past congress gave us? Please tell me how.

Are you actually asking a question that can be answered? If you're so interested in "spending problems", why not consult our current non-liberal president about the literally billions of dollars he's spent on a fruitless "war"?
