Anyone know the layout of a typical wealthy persons house during the Civil War? If not, then what about a Victorian style? Anything is appreciated.

There was probably no such thing as a "typical" wealthy person's house. If the people had a lot of money, they would have their house built exactly as they wanted it, and it would not follow a pattern that lots of other people used. It would also vary considerably depending on whether they lived in the South or in the North....different types of houses make sense in different geographical locations.

Apparently you're not a Southerner. Many cities in the south have annual pilgrimages that tour antebellum homes.
