My System Specs:
2.4GHZ P4 Processor
ATI Radeon 9250 256MB DDR graphics card
100GB HDD
512MB of RAM
and it wont even load the menu right. it says my graphics card isn't responding.

my graphics card cant be too old BF2 supports ATI Radeon 8500 and up. i have 9250.

Your gfx card is not supported by BF2.
Only think you can really do is try to update your drivers.

Can you run dxdiag and report some version information on your DirectX software? Once that runs, you should see some information that may assist in debugging the system. You may also take a look at the BF2 website and see if they recommend a particular ATI driver (maybe an older or newer one that what you have currently installed). Sometimes video card vendors make tweaks in the drivers that allow some apps to run better and totally break others. The BF2 forum may also provide some details from other users on how to configure using that particular card.

insert the cd or game watever then go to the drive E or D and click on the game or program
