the small glass bottles always seem to have much more CO2 dissolved in them, IMHO its the nice thick walls of the class that can hold more pressure compared to the thin-wall aluminium cans.

However i actually asked people at COKE company and they told me its the same amount of gas in can or bottle.

serving suggestion, pour over haagen daas ice cream.

original coke formula was sweetened with sugar. modern "classic" coke contains corn syrup. when i was talking to the coke company guy i accused them of using the NEW COKE brand to cover the switch. this was also denied.

so i guess i am full of it... but i still cling to these beliefs.

it was probably a more refreshing beverage before the cocaine was replaced by caffeine. (the flavor is still obtained from cocoa leaves, but the cocaine is removed before the syrup is produced.)

Cane-sugar based Coke is far superior to corn syrup based Coke. I travel to Central America regularly and always look forward to having cane sugar Coka-Cola while there.

As I understand it, they use whatever's cheapest in the region to make the product. So in the US, they use corn syrup, but in much of the rest of the world, sugar. The taste is so different that I'd be willing to pay more for cane sugar Coke in the US.

That said... they never seem to have cane sugar Cherry Coke, which has always disappointed me.
