The Sun will swell to a red giant star in 5 billion years, enveloping the Earth. And that will be the end of the Earth, as long as we don't get hit by something really big before that.

I think the world will end when the sun starts to change to a red dwarf. Human beings may not be around that long, but the planet can do very nicely without us.

I think that the world will end when we have nothing left to live with, and when important supplies, such as water, run out. Also, if the ozone layer gets a hole in it because of global warming, and the sun could burn up the earth. But at that point, we may have the technology to stop or prevent it.

Hope this helps! :-)

The Bible says that this world will end when Christ returns, and that no one knows the day or the hour when that will happen. I think it's going to happen in our lifetime, but for the past 2000 years people have thought it was going to happen in their lifetime, so what do I know??
