F. Elements in the same group (vertical column) have similar chemical properties. Periods are the horizontal rows.

T. Relative to moving a neutron or a proton in the nucleus.

T. All the electrons in the second period are in the second energy level.

T. As you move left to right, elements generally become more electronegative, and thus are more reactive. This excludes the noble gases on the far right.
