Female mollies are perpetually pregnant. The white spot has nothing to do with it. I believe your question is a concern for what the white spot is and if it's a danger to your fish.

It might and might not be a sign of disease, could you be more descriptive in what it looks like - texture (like a grain of salt or a piece of cotton fluff), size, how quickly it appeared, does it appear to be spreading, do you have other fish in the tank and are they also showing any signs of this white? Also, is she showing any signs of distress? Is she breathing fast? Are other fish picking on her (male mollies don't count as that is probably mating behavior)? Has she been acting any differently than before the white spot appeared?

There is a slim chance, if she is still young and developing, that her coloration is not completely black. This does happen but it usually shows up very early. Mollies are not known for "changing their spots".

If you can supply us with more information we should be able to help you better. I don't want to recommend treating for disease when it might not be one. It's best to avoid chemicals whenever possible.

It's not possible to see the gravid spot on black Mollies, and a white spot usually means some sort of disease.
