Arm and Hammer baking soda and white vinegar. Put the baking soda in first, sprinkling slowly so it won't cluster up before getting down inside the drain. Let her boil a few times. Prepare for an earthy smell, but it's harmless to any and all.

I have heard a nature way to unclog a drain is by using acidic fruit juice.
Spend some quality time plunging the drain or go to a local Walmart type store and buy a short snake. Not the reptile snake, its a drain snake and usually costs about $8.00.
If you eventually give in to strong chemical means, get the foaming draino, that has worked best for me.

I live in Germany where dumping chemicals down the drain is a big No, No.
My German landlord came over and took baking soda and white vinegar and dumped into the drain. The Baking Soda foamed up when the Vinegar was poured on top. But no kidding it worked!

I agree with PoppyMan and those who said baking soda and vinegar! The Zip It tool is fantastic for getting hair out of drains and once I used mine on a friends drain and pulled up and old antque dentist tool!! And vinegar & baking soda works really well too-just besure to let it bubble for a while and then flush with very hot water!

There is a tool at Lowes, called a "Zip-it" and it costs about $3. It has barbs that will catch the hair that has stopped up your drain. Good luck!
