Why...? What would you look at to show that Coca Cola is a stable company and would be a good investment.

It's great that you have interest in purchasing shares of a public company. You're asking a question that could effect some of your financial future.......

So why do you ask strangers with no way to verify their qualifications or motives?

This is a terrible way to start your investing life. You need to commit yourself to reading a couple of book on investing. You need to read magazines like Money & Kiplingers (you still need to be very cautious of their suggestions). Make your own investing decisions after you're "armed" with the information you need.

Yes I would buy Coca Cola stock. Look at its track record. It is a very stable company which continues to grow earnings and pay dividends. I own Coke stock. That doesn't mean you should buy coke stock. Only make investments that you are comfortable with.
