Deegan McDowell on Your world with neil cavuto says the fact the markets went up after the arrest of the JFK terror suspects is concerning to her. She states that it shows complacency. Granted the Dow has only gone up 8 points. So using her logic every time we arrest terror suspects the markets should have a huge sell off and crash. Granted no one mentioned how inconcivable this attack and same goes for the fort Dix attack.

Actually this question has to deal with Deegan McDowells quote about how the markets should not be responding positivly after we arrested a group of terrorists. She said the markets should be concerned and should have responded negatively after we arrested these terror suspects.

Actually I did not say the plot was inconcievable the Department of homeland security said it. Many times.

I do not understand the logic that says because a terrorist plot is not ingeniously conceived, it should somehow be diminished as important. Are you saying that if the terrorists were only minimally successful and killed a handful of Americans versus thousands, then we shouldn't care? I bet you wouldn't feel that way if a mass murderer came into your home and only killed one of your family instead of everyone.

The attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were inconcievable to me before they happened. Anything is possible with terrorists. To try to tie anti-terrorist activities to the stock market is just plain silly.

That is humorless and funny. What kind of person spends their day talking about how terrorism connects to the economy?

Well your rambling semi-coherent statements are funny. You are correct though. The idea that the market should crumble every time someone whispers the word "bomb" IS laughable.
