It's tragic, but true.
Hey, why not everyone make a point of speaking to someone they don't know. Let's say you speak to at least 5 people you don't know on a daily basis. It's a start . . .

I totally agree with you, but then again, thank god for the net, because some of those people you may not give the time of day on the sidewalk, sure need and get a boost of confidence to finding friends online. I mean not that they have to look funny or have a dissability, but it takes a lot to make new friends and have a good aura about yourself when you have no confidence. So I say Amen. And here's to some of the coolest folks I've never met as well.

The thing about communicating with people on line is that you never really know if the other person is being themselves or if they are just posing as a "cool" person. You can't look into their eyes and speak to them. You can't use your intuition. It's like communication without a soul. Yahoo recently turned over the names of 7,000+ of its members who happen to be registered sex offenders. We should all be careful who we allow into our lives, be it on the sidewalk or on line.

Not too tragic in the grand scheme of life. There are far more tragic things. I just enjoy the time I spend on here and don't invest any emotions. It is easier that way.

It is tragic. It's because everyone's first impression is how you look... thing is, it should be about WHO the person is. It's also easier to be yourself when you are behind a computer than face to face. Sad, but true.

I am a bit of a snob so more than likely I would have ignored the majority of the people who I have met on line only because I would think they were huge geeks in real life how shallow am I? God I Suck I am sorry to all my on line friends will still ignore you if I pass you on the street lol

And how many of your friends here would just ignore you on the "real" side of the monitor?
Great folk here there be, many of whom I'd love to meet.

In worldwide warfare 2 it grew to grow to be a normal prepare interior the British bomber command to objective residential portion of Germany, fairly those residential factors around industial complexes. in one night the full city of Dresden replaced into decreased to smoking rubble in between the worst firestorms in historic previous. Curtis LeMay launched into a planned and systematic attempt to wreck residential factors of Tokyo with fire bombs, and one bomber raid on my own grew to become sixteen sq. miles of Tokyo to ashes. Civilians have been valid objectives in worldwide warfare 2, the objective being to totally demoralize the civilian inhabitants and render them homeless and to inflict as plenty suffering on them as a threat. subsequently of all this extra humane regulations have been written to handle civilians in wartime, and there is not any doubt that it incredibly is a great concern between civilized international locations. sunlight Tzu stated the final victory is while a common can capture the opposing military intact. as we communicate, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, stateless terrorists share no such perspectives. it incredibly is real that the U. S. and others very own very effective weapons. fairly conversing the civilian death toll is remarkably low while in comparison with WW1 and WW2. you could wager that if the stateless terrorists in Hamas, Hezbollah, and Al-Quaida had the comparable weapons that the civilian death toll in each and each attack might pass from numbers interior the tens to numbers interior the masses of hundreds. you'll be grateful that those human beings don't have such weapons and that the international locations that do are utilising them with disgression.
