Remember that everyone has bad days.

The fact that you can recognize that it is just that, a bad day, and that your life is not spiralling downwards into inevitable doom, is a good thing.

Talk it over with a friend, relax, treat yourself to a manicure or watching your favorite movie. Do something to make you feel good about yourself again.

Most importantly, remember that tomorrow is a new day, and what happened today does NOT have to have any effect on what happens tomorrow.

I hope that helps. Feel better :)

Last time I had a bad day I praised God I was still alive to have a bad day let alone any day, and that I was in full control of my mental capacities so I could know the difference between a good or bad day.

Bad days are like thunder and lightening accompanying the rain. It is a part of growth. Be thankful for what you have now and don't dwell on the "bad".

Number 1--accept that having a bad day is alright.
Number 2--Find a song or songs that remind you of peaceful times and play them.
Number 3--Meditate.
Number 4--Call up a friend and chat.

Any combination of the above.

Stick it out. We learn more from bad times than good times. That doesn't make the day any better, but it beats not being there at all.
