So dez604 (or any one for that matter) screws up his facts and he gets caught on it. Seems bit petty to me to point it out in a separate question.

Oh, I don't know it was such a slam-dunk or a thumpin' either one. His real point was that since Jefferson is a Democrat, he gets a Pass. It remains to be seen whether that happens or not in the end. However, what was notably absent from most of the responses correcting his position that it isn't getting media coverage is condemnation of his corruption, nor any softening of the position that Democrats are clean, Republicans are all dirty.
Okay, so he was wrong about Jefferson getting completely ignored by the media, but where's the call to have him tossed out of "The Most Ethical Congress Ever"? What liberals on this board are demanding it? What liberals in Congress are demanding it? Who besides this Libertarian find it odd that Pelosi would give in to the Black Caucus and keep him when her inner moral compass says it's time to make him walk the plank?
So you caught him on a fact, but his point remains unchallenged.

CNN will report the news. So will most of the media outlets. Forgive dez if he assumed otherwise. What did not happen and will not happen will be the constant pounding Republicans and Conservatives routinely experience in these matters. This happened a year ago! This will be in and out of the news so fast. It won't be DeLay'd, DeLay'd, DeLay'd!!! Which begs the question: Will Jefferson resign?
