it has a buckle that says louis vuitton and the inside is suede then the pocket is leather and it has a copyright then it says louis vuitton then says paris then made in france then the strap says louis vuitton a couple times.

Just to clarify one of the earlier responses, just because it says Paris doesn't mean it is fake. My friend just bought one from Saks and it says Louis Vuitton Paris but made in USA. They have been made in France for 25 years and now have factories in other countries including USA, Spain, Germany & Italy for faster product distribution. Any vintage LVs would be made in France. If you bought it off a street vendor then it is definitely fake. If you bought it at an LV boutique or high-end department store it is authentic. If the leather on the handles/strap is not real leather then the purse is fake. If you still aren't sure check out this website http://www.mypoupette.com/, this site is great with helping to authenticate some designer handbags, especially LVs. Hopefully this helps and you didn't waste your money. Also, not all the LVs have the Alcantara suede inside, for ex. if you bought a Speedy it should be a brown canvas interior.

IF you did not happen to notice that the store you bought it in said Louis Vuitton over the door or you were at the LV section of a store such as Macy's- you have a fake honey. Do you remember paying $800 and up for this bag? You are never going to get a "deal" on LV- period. If you want one, save your money and go to a LV boutique.

well to know if its truley real it will have a metal strip inside it (mine does) but mine doesnt say Louis Vuitton all over it i mean you wont really know unless u go to the store (a real one) and check they will tell you.... or you could always go on the internet site and puch in the serial codes and it should show the one you got...well jope this helps bye

Eek, that sure does sound like a fake. I have a Louis, but it doesn't say that anywhere. Did you get it somewhere reliable and at a Normal price?

If it says Paris its fake. They are made in Spain. I have real one and a fake. The fake says Paris. The real says Spain. My hubby also has a LV wallet. It said Spain.

It's hard to say because the fakes are so good anymore. But, if you got it real cheap, then it probably isn't real. I hope it's the real deal!
