No you shouldn't but you can unless the school has any laws against it. I know my school does. It's in the school handbook that they give is in the beginning of the year and there's a page especially for dress/code. It clearly states that we can't wear them. Crazy huh? Anyway wear them if you wanna wear them. I wish i could from time to time.

I am probably to old to be answering this question but I am taking it as an opportunity to get something off my chest so maybe I can help you along the way. Girls are entirely too worried these days about what people think about them. Why do you need approval to wear something you love? The only concern of yours should be, "is there a dress code at school you would be breaking". if that answer is no, then who cares? Will your friends tease you if you do? Do you really care if they do or could this be a small petty step into developing your own personallity and hopefully adjusting to life in a society where you will hopefully learn that just because it may be expected of you doesn't make it right. Does that make sense? So what do I think about the slippers? Wear the damn things and stop thinking about it so much. I saw a 9th grader in heels when I picked my neice up from school, I wanted to cry, it's so sad that kids just can't be kids, and you all are, even at 18, you are kids, enjoy it toots, it goes away, and fast! I'd tell you to be yourself, but you may not know who "you" are yet, I didn't in high school, but just do what you like, enjoy and forget what people think. Don't condition your life around peer expectations.

Not only am I going to say no to the slippers question, but I will add you should always be dressed more than the occasion so that you always look polished and are ready for anything. Just watch an episode of TLC's What not to Wear. It really does teach right from wrong in a way that not only improves the person's looks, but also improves self-esteem. Give it a shot. Good luck! :)

Slippers were not intended to do the job of shoes.
How casual is the world going to get?
Try wearing them to the store and the mall first then see if you still want your classmates to see you in your cool slippers.

No. Slippers are meant for the house. If you want to show them off at school, take a picture. If everyone else has to wear shoes then so do you :P

No. school is like a jungle. Plus, the slippers fad was like 5 years ago. Just get some shoes.

No, I think slippers should be worn at home only unless you hurt your foot and can't wear regular shoes.

Just my opinion. I don't like these people that wear their PJ's to school either (The pants).

Yes...(I have that dream all the time...)
But only if you also wear your terrycloth bathrobe with black men's socks up to your knees, and a shower cap as a hat, with curlers in your hair, and a green mud pack on your face, carrying a Pee Wee Herman lunchbox and a broken umbrella on a sunny day...
Guys dig that...(and it's also the best way to asked to the school dance)

If you think you can pull it off. However, i'd recommend waiting until like a spirit day or something.. i wouldn't just randomly show up in slippers. Whatever floats ur boat i suppose..

I'm a teacher and my school has a no slippers policy. I'd look into it before you get embarassed/in trouble.
