Richardson
Edwards
Obama
Biden
Dodd
H. Clinton
Gravel
Kucinich
Hey, we almost totally agreed....here's my opinion.
Richardson seemed the most practical; Edwards seemed more engaging, empathetic. Gravel & Kucinich seemed to be spoilers
Clinton seemed too political, edgy, combative, calculated (in terms of her responses)
Post Debate: H. Clinton missed opportunity to seem more engaging while signing autographs/talking (e.g. compare to Obama) I believed Bill Clinton would've relish the opportunity to personally engage the audience.
hey, just my opinion...

I did NOT see the debate and I'll tell you why. 8 p.m. may be nice for the East Coast, but in Pacific Time that is 5 p.m. I was taken off guard. It didn't occur to me that an event of this importance would not be scheduled at a time for accessible to the entire audience. 5 p.m. is not prime time. The debate could have started at 10 in the East which would be 7 in the West. That would have been equitable. Even a 9 p.m. start would put it at 6 p.m., a slightly better time for viewers. I contend that million so West Coast ( and to a lesser extent, Mountain States) were disenfranchised. And it should be obvious that this does not affect the candidates equally. The country knows Hillary Clinton. Bernie Sanders has some uniquely sound fundamental values which I know the American people who recognize and value. But--as I expected he is not getting through. The campaign has been focused on his socialism. Maybe it is socialism to Ronald Reagan but not to us in the 21 Century. This spying episode is deplorable and his excuse they all do it, a classic. Bernie did, however, give a correct assessment of our prospects under a Hillary foreign policy. Maybe if we left thew Islamic world alone we would not have incurred terrorism. But, even if it was dirty politics to schedule the debate at 8 ET, Bernie ought to have been on top of that. The spying episode shows that he has unsorted people in his campaign.

Well I just watched the health care portion online. Because I agreed with him, I thought Kucinich was the best. After that it went
Edwards
Obama
Hillary
Dodd
Richardson (he was awful)
On Iraq amongst the top 3 it appears
Edwards
Obama
Hillary
Overall the consensus appears to be the Richardson was the worst. Obama and Edwards appear to have done the best, but Hillary apparently didn't do much to hurt her standing at the top.

Maybe the best was Gravel, and that is only because nobody knows him, but possibly Bill Richardson, solely because I like him better.
I thought worst was Obama who is on the VA Hospital Senate committee, and his responses to the VA scandal was not that bright. It really made me realize that NONE of the current Democrat Senators and Congressmen overseeing Veterans Affairs were ever Veterans, so it made me realize that Veterans Affairs is being totally overlooked by the Democrats in power.
Imus uncovered neglect and scandal years before the Democrats in Congress ever really cared to address the issue.
Nearly all scored low for wanting to repeal "Don't Ask/Don't Tell" (a point in their favor) and allowing gays to openly serve in the military (major point deduction across the board).

Richardson
Kucinich
Gravel - comic relief
EDIT: We must have watched a completely different debate. Sen. Clinton talked in great detail about Iraq, Iran and Pakistan without a need to mention her husband at all. She was Presidential in manner and strong and bold in her answers. She doesn't depend on his name value to buttress her arguments or give her opinions. She can do that all on her own. She refers to his term in office when it is appropriate and pertinent to do so, just like anyone else. You do know all of them had to answer the same question about Bill, right? Other than that she mentioned him when talking about Bin Laden and what action he had taken, etc. Is she not supposed to mention him when everyone else does and harkens back to what he did during his Presidency? She's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't, isn't she?

Wow, why do so many think Richardson did so well? He came off as boorish and would always go over time even when Blitzer was telling him to stop talking. He didn't know when to shut up, that was rude and obnoxious. Most of the other candidates with the exception of Hillary kept to time limits.
I can't really rank them as most of them didn't do really well or bad, with highlights and lowlights. Overall, I think Gravel, Biden, and Edwards did better than their last debate. The others stayed about the same.

I don't know what anyone else watched the same debate as I did but how can anyone unbias say Hitlery was any good?
She really didn't have any detail to what she was going to do about anything. Then she kept bringing up Bill. Why is he running or her? Then she said she was going to stop the war.
But she never said how, oh yeah, she's realll intelligent. Most of the time she just sat there and stared at everyone else.
