I've had a new electric shower fitted by a friend and need to know how much I should pay him? How much should this cost?

Sorry I should have said job was to fit only, remove one broken Mira shower and replace it with another new Mira shower (which I bought).

Is he/her qualified plumber/electrician
How good was the job done.
How good a friend are they,ie business and pleasure don't mix.
Qualified trade people charge between £10 to £18 and hour.

if he /she has fitted it and connected it to electric and water supply ie it is fully working I would think that you would have paid a plumber at least £200 for his time alone
so take it from there

If no other work was required, and he/she put test instruments on it, then 40-50 quid.

Wel in ireland, you get it done for around €15, dunnno bout england, £10 i suppose!!!

ask him for and estimate of how much he thinks it is and then you decide
