i had one when i was in second grade and was wondering if it was common.
ive seen other penises w/o it and i doesnt look any different. and yes it did hurt bad to pee for a couple months

Wow, so early on! Was it caused by meatal stenosis or meatitis? That's a common negative side effect of circumcision (since the meatus rubs all the time against clothes and such).

I have a friend that said he had it done at age 6. Not a happy guy (still having problems).

I don't think it is very common. It seems that it is more for body modification. Does it change the way it looks though?

it is quite common, be glad yours was caught so young, older men especially that develop a urethral obstruction have to go thru considerably more pain to aleviate the problems.

Why was this done? This is an extreme body modification, and is normally only performed on an adult.
