Im getting a hand me down IPod. I already have an Itunes account. If there are songs already on the IPod from a different Itunes account, am I going to get flagged on this when I try to re-sync with my songs. What "smarts" from DRM are built into the songs that were downloaded. Will the Itunes version also matter.

*Wouldnt suprise me if Apple probably somewhere recommends you delete all songs if you re-sell your IPOD.

iTunes doesn't flag people, old songs will just be deleted from the device and the newer songs will be added.\

The DRM license just disallows unauthorized people to use the music files, there is no system of "flagging" people who are trying to use the files.
