If the females are close to dropping (less than two weeks) you are likely to kill them by moving them. If you want to save the fry add a few bunches of leafy plants to the tank(like Anacharis or Water Wisteria) for the females and the fry to hide in. Moving the females when they are near to birthing is the worst thing you can do for them. The stress of being netted and separated will usually do them harm.
Just make sure that the water and tank are clean(partial water change) and add some hiding places for them.

If you have the females in a breeding container, leave them in there until they finish giving birth. Or,take out all the fish except the 2 females and add some thick plants (plastic,OK) When the babies are born, take out the mothers. You will need at least one tank for the babies and another for the adults.

Male mollies are very active and will constantly want to breed with females. I would separate them for now, or your female could become very stressed. Also provide plenty of plants for the fry to hide in after they are born. Good luck!

Definitely seperate the fish. The babies will be eaten if you keep them in the tank.

I had 2 mollies in the same tank and one of them had babies. I put them all in their seperate tank, 17 in all, and they all died within the next day. Make sure you find out how to take care of the babies once they are born! I can't offer any advice on that, unfortunately.

Yes you do! the male will eat all the baby fish. Also once the pregnant fish has her babies you need to get her out also because she'll eat all the baby fish also.

Good luck

I would move them into a live bearing tank. When they start to have babies put them in a birthing container. this has a slanted floor that allows the live young to go into a lower chamber so the mother does not eat them.

Seperate the male from the females. Tyr to feed the females a lot fo food so when the fry gets born, they won't get eaten by any means.

Moving a fish when it's close to birthing can permanently injure it, those "hatcheries" are worthless.
